The Winter Classic

Last year's Winter Classic did something very special for the sport of hockey. It gave the game a worldwide audience on a day when most people are at home, looking for something to watch on the tube, and instead of watching the "Courier Bowl" (made up name) or some game between two bad teams the coolest sport on ice took center stage on NBC and they knocked it out of the park. That game was GREAT. And heaven for me since I couldn't care less about college football, and Jan. 1 had been a black day for years because of that fact. FINALLY, something to watch on Jan. 1. Hope the Winter Classic goes on forever.

I'll watch it as long as it's on before the Rose Bowl, which I'll be watching to see my Nittany Lions beat the Condoms ... I mean, the Trojans :)

Dude, Penn State? Really, Really? Penn State? Hmm. I guess we will see. At least this will be before The Ohio State gets blown THE hell out by Texas.
