Favorite Card - John Tavares – I have scouted this player for years now live and on video. He’s outstanding and he will certainly be a franchise player for the team that drafts him. Now traded from Oshawa to London they are certainly one of the favorites to win the 2009 Memorial Cup!
This set has a great retro design and its $75 dollar price tag is a bargain! Santorelli is now up with Nashville and Leino (33 points in 37 games for Grand Rapids in the AHL) will be in Detroit before you know it. This box and Jon Waldman’s (review coming) were loaded. Pick up a few the value is great and if you are a Canadian, you will want a card of Jordan Eberle. A second year Hedman card is still worth getting as well.
Stay tuned for a more in depth review coming soon!

I don't think Hedman was in H&P last year. He was in ITG Ultimate (and no one knows what year to call that), but he wasn't in base H&P or the Update set last year. It was a bunch of Russians and Tuukka Rask in H&P last year for European content.

Nice pull on the Tavares!

Very nice pull on the Tavares!

That kid is amazing, can't wait to see what he does in the NHL. Hope he gets drafted to a good team!
