Hobby Journalism

Not that it's any big suprise, but 78% of hobby shops report decline in sales in 2008, according to the results of Card Trade’s 12th annual retailer survey as reported by SCD.

It's this type of news that still warrants them as a viable alternative to Beckett (Sucks) despite their own use of an antiquated pricing model. I have always found their editorial, both online and in print, to be much more compeling and informative.

Few of us, if any, would be able to have direct access to this kind of data.
