I don't understand the hate for interesting photos after over a half decade of boring photos that all look alike. That card looks like it could be from 1994 Topps.
I don't see the problem with this either. It's a unique photograph, and at least we know he's supposed to be a catcher (at least he's not a weak infielder "pretending" to be a catcher). Didn't you like the catcher-wearing-mask photos found in 1997 Topps?

Ramon Hernandez has in his Topps contract that his mother, Muriel Hernandez, must approve all shots before being printed.

It reminds me of Sandy Alomar, Jr's '95 Topps card.
I actual like all of Topps photography this year, or is it the design that's right with the photography??
