Burning Out On Retro

It's been said that too much of a good thing . . . .yadda, yadda, yadda (BTW great Seinfeld episode- "She yadda yadda'ed sex?!?!") anyway retro products used to provide a nice diversion, something to mix things up while embracing the hobby's past. Now I fear they substitute for lack of creativity. This year has seen a plethora of these types of products across all sports. Once limited primarily to baseball we have seen football releases for Philadelphia and Magic just in the last couple months. Today, Topps debuted 2009-10 '48 Bowman to basketball fans. I guess their is no getting off this retro craze anytime soon.
