Sex Sells- Is This What It Has Come To?

2009 Topps Chrome Football goes live this Thursday, September 10th.
Collectors will be treated (sic) to a new low for The Hobby.

Yep, official NFL Cheerleader cards. I am a red blooded American male and love the sight of an attractive woman as much as the next guy. BUT do we really need this? Does anyone really want this?

This is complete BS. In a product like Chrome where you only get 4 cards per pack, it's unforgivable to insert that crap. I didn't like the fact that the Ring of Honor cards fell one per box last year, as I've got a stack of them. This is just going overboard.

I guess you missed the boat with them being in the regular Topps release.

These cheerleaders see more action on the field than most of the autos that people will be pulling. I just wish that they had cheerleaders from more of the teams. I am sure if they had the Dallas cheerleaders, there would be a bit of demand for them on the secondary market.

Agree with you Groat and Tim. This is just unneccessary.

I agree that it is completely unnecessary, however, Shaun was right with the fact that the cheerleaders are more "involved" in the game than some of the 3rd string autos that will be in there.

I hate cheerleaders. I hate them with a passion. My Steelers don't even have them and I'm proud of that fact. However, card issues have been stale, bland, overproduced, and boring for the last 3-4 years and I think this spices it up a bit. I won't collect them, but I know at least a dozen or so people that will.
