Product Review: Panini Prestige Basketball

Guest Review: Doug Cataldo

There’s a new basketball game in town and it is going to shake the foundations of NBA trading card collectors. That’s right, the first Panini NBA set has hit stores and like a Kobe Bryant shot at the buzzer, it is a sure thing. Hobby boxes of 2009 Prestige Basketball contain 24 packs of cards, each with 8 cards per pack. You can find four game-used or autos per box which on average should cost about $75.

Collectors have to be excited about this product if for nothing more than the fact that it is the first NBA release under the Panini banner . . .
