Tiger's Fall From Grace.

A year ago, this cover photo would have bordered on being scandalous.

Despite having my own thoughts on the subject, I kept quiet during the initial fusillade of opinion, innuendo and bad humor when the story of his domestic dispute inducing car accident occurred.

With allegations of the existence of a sex-tape having recently come to light, and the already major blow taken to his reputation due to his repeated marital infidelity and the impact it has had on his personal and professional life, I can't think of any other athlete or celebrity to experience such a crashing downfall to their popularity, stigma, and character.

Talk about a guy that "had the world by a string"; filthy rich and all the things money could buy, a beautiful wife (that let him play golf WHENEVER he wanted), a beautiful baby girl, a gorgeous home, fame, notoriety, honor, and prestige. The later of those on the list being the most important. We thought Tiger Woods to be a man of character and integrity, privileged enough to lead a near fairy tale existence. And it all came crashing down . . . by his own doing. Selfish lust has tempted many a man and shows that no matter what you have and who you are, you can lose it all in the blink of an eye.

Part of me feels truly sorry for Tiger because as he hits his own personal rock bottom, he is going to realize all of the things he has sacrificed for his "indiscretions" including what a poor choice of word that was to describe the habitual infidelity he participated in. That is going to be very painful and something I am sure he dreads having to someday explain to his daughter.

Another part of me believes, quite simply, that, you reap what you sow.

When you market yourself and name the way he did, this outcome totally paints a different picture of what he really was! We'll see more sponsors slowly drop off! With all of this said, I EXPECT him to rebound, bounce back and be more hungrier than ever. He'll pass Jack and then things will be 'all good.' That's my prediction... we'll see what happens down the road!!

I found it funny last night when I went to Walgreens to pick up some meds. They have all the Gatorade Tiger on clearance but none of the other flavors. Great stuff.
