Update: Topps Honus Wagner

I wanted to make a public apology to Beardy of The Mojo Beard who was the first to point out the problem with the Topps Sterling Honus Wagner card with this post and not Chris Harris from Stale Gum as I originally had attributed it too.

Sorry Beardy.

Thanks Rob. Sorry you got attacked via comments. I promise that wasn't my cavalry (since I don't have one). No hard feelings at all man. Really, Blowout Cards Forums deserves all the credit, since that's where I found the story anyway.

No worries. You know me. I have a pretty thick skin. Was surprised a tad by all the vitriol but what are ya gonna do?

I was gonna say - didn't it originate from Blowout?

The sportscard industry is shady. I'm out.

Rob... I will say that I'm not part of beardy's cavalry at all... but I do like his blog... for my part, forgive me if any thing I said came across as vitriolic, I wasn't trying to be... partly at the end I was trying to lighten the mood a bit...

You've made the point at least twice now about twitter (see, I do read your blog and will continue). Speaking for myself, it came across condescendingly in your post yesterday when you told everyone what they NEED to do with their blog. Not everyone may have the same goals as you, not every may see things the way you do. Maybe presenting it as "here's why I think it's important to be on twitter" would have been a better approach, in my humble opinion.

I did want to ask, you do know you can set google reader to show only new posts? It then gives you the same basic functionality of a tweet, as you see new posts you can read them. If you don't want to read any, you can tell it to mark them all as "read" and move on with your day. I don't know if that would be more time consuming or not. Anyway, just my two cents as well...

Thanks Dimwit- Can Google Reader email me new posts from blogs I follow?

Not that I'm aware of or that I was able to find by looking for such a setting in the preferences.
